My name is Shanda, I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer with a fun, unique view on things! I like to have a great time with my clients, and capture the moments in their lives with a creative twist!  My goal is to help my clients press pause on their endless busy lives and make moments that matter. I’m here to give you more than just a new Facebook profile picture (although you’ll definitely be proud of that, too!).

   I offer wedding photography and photo sessions to North Carolina and surrounding areas. To our hometown of Richmond County and also in our new home area of Lexington, NC. Our prices are very reasonable and session locations vary.

BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY BOOKING:

​

What are session fees for? Sessions fee's are a retainer to book time of my schedule for the date agreed upon for your session. Each session fee is based on time booked off and many other factors taken into consideration when booking a clients session. Session fees are non-refundable as they are to retain a spot on my calendar for our agreed upon session time. With photography services much like a salon, doctors office or other service, it is improbable to fill open spots on a schedule when a client doesn't show for an appointment. To avoid no shows and turning away other potential clients for appointment times, a retainer is required to book.

 

WEDDINGS: a $150 nonrefundable retainer is required to book and hold the date for your wedding and serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due on/before the wedding date. The booking retainer MUST be paid at the time of scheduling to secure the date of service. It is the clients sole responsibility to abide by the terms of this contract.

Weddings retainers can be paid via certified check, paypal, or cash.

If agreed to by Flashback Photography for client to pay by check, checks must first clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees plus whatever balance is due must be paid by cash or money order immediately. Please note, check must clear prior to reserving and booking a wedding date.

 

Due to potential lost of photographers income. ALL Weddings & Boudoir Retainers are Nonrefundable/Nontransferable for any reason.

 

For all regular sessions, a $25 non-fundable session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due on the session date. The booking retainer MUST be paid within 24hrs of deciding on a date. If the booking retainer has not been received after 3 Days, the date will re-open at Flashback Photography discretion. It is the clients sole responsibility to abide by the terms of this contract, therefore Flashback Photography  is not responsible for telling the client the date has been re-opened to the public and has the right to book another client for the date. 

 

PAYMENT: All other retainer fees must be paid within three (3) days via certified check, paypal, or cash. If agreed to by Flashback Photography for client to pay by check, checks must first clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees plus whatever balance is due must be paid by cash or money order immediately. Please note, check must clear prior to reserving and booking a session date.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: For family, senior, newborn, children, engagement, & bridal portrait sessions, a client forefeits their session retainer paid to book the session date which will act as a cancellation fee. The fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by canceling 7 Days prior to the date of regular session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time. 

 

If Flashback Photography cannot perform this contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to photographer’s illness or emergency, then the photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. In the event Flashback Photography fails to perform for any other reason, Flashback Photography shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid.

 

MINI SESSIONS:

Due to a number of factors, Flashback Photography frequently limits the number of attendees to Holiday/Minis  and require a $10 nonrefundable/nontransferable retainer at the time of scheduling. When session dates fills to capacity, a waitlist is made of those wanting to attend the date. Flashback Photography understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel the photo session. If that happens, we respectfully ask for your session to be cancelled as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend your scheduled session. 

Mini Session Attendance policy is as follows.
• In case a session must be cancelled, it should be cancelled as soon as possible but at least within 72 hours of the scheduled session time. If a session is cancelled within 24hrs of the scheduled session time, it will be counted the same as a “No-Show”. 
• After one “No-Show” any session wished to be booked with Flashback Photography in the future is to pay a $50 nonrefundable/nontransferable retainer before scheduling can occur.

 

TIME: Please be on time. Client agrees and understands that the start time agreed upon is the time the session begins. If clients are late for any reason, this time is deducted from their session (client loses this time). If clients are more than 20 minutes late for a regular session, Flashback Photography has the right to leave and the booking retainer will not be refunded or moved to another date. If the client wants to reschedule after the photographer has left, they must pay an additional booking retainer booking fee. If Flashback Photography is late for any reason, the time she is late will be added to the session. If clients decide to leave after 20 minutes, Flashback Photography will either refund the booking retainer or move the date without an additional booking retainer being necessary. There will be an additional charge of $30 per 15 minutes that the session runs over if clients wish to continue photographing. Each additional hour will be subject to package fee's listed. 

 

COPYRIGHT: Photographs/images produced by Flashback Photography are protected by Copyright and remain the property of Flashback Photography. Upon final payment by clients, clients are allowed to display resulting images for personal use only. Said images may not be digitally altered in any manner without prior written permission of Flashback Photography. Clients will receive a high resolution digital disk with printing rights. When publishing the photos on social media, Flashback Photography must be credited as the photographer. The client must not benefit commercially from the reproduction of these photographs in any form. 

 

WEATHER: (for outdoor sessions)- Weather plays a big role in good pictures. Clear skies are highly suggested as Flashback Photography is a natural light photographer.  If rescheduling due to weather, the booking retainer will move to the new date. If it rains, Flashback Photography reserves the right to cancel the session. If client decides to move forward to photographing on a cloudy day against Flashback Photography's judgement and does not like the outcome of the photos, client may not collect any monies paid to the session and Flashback Photography has no obligation to repeat the session. A new session fee and retainer must be collected.  

 

TURNAROUND TIME: 2-4weeks on regular sessions, 4-6 weeks on newborns, boudoir & bridals. Weddings are 6-8 weeks and/or 90days during our busiest months. Please make sure you book in plenty of advanced notice if you are having pictures made for special circumstances! Rush orders can be placed on regular sessions with a turn around of one week or less for an additional $60.
